Have you ever looked at a photo and wondered how it managed to capture so much more than just a moment?
Photography is, in many ways, an art, a science, and a social science.
Whether you’re shooting long exposures, coaxing a smile from a high school senior,
or chasing every fleeting moment of a wedding day- there are so many creative muscles at work.
Every photographer has their own style and approach. And after 16 years of experience,
I’d love to share with you what I’ve learned along the way.
ALL THE TECHNICAL STUFF
I currently (primarily) shoot with Canon R6
but I have consistently worked with Nikon, Sony, and Canon.
My main cameras are mirrorless but have a decade of experience with DSLR.
In college I studied film photography and currently photograph manual mode.
My 24-70mm & 70-200mm are my workhorse lenses but I also LOVE shooting prime lenses.
I cull and edit in Lightroom and Photoshop
I have worked as a Wedding Photographer for 16 years
a portrait photographer for 16 years
a commercial/food photographer for 10 years
a videographer for 8 years

IN-PERSON MENTORING
In person sessions are scheduled by the hour.
Each mentoring session is customized to you.
Before we meet, I send a questionnaire finding
out what you want to learn most to make this
time valuable for you!

GROUP MENTORING
Group sessions are also scheduled by the hour, but are a great option for friends, families, or small groups who want to learn together at a discounted rate.
Each group session is also customized to the group.
Before we meet, I will send a questionnaire to the head of the group and we will narrow it down from there.
Group sessions require a minimum of 3 persons and will take place at the most convenient shooting location for all parties.
