Traverse City Family Photos

Everyone knows Northern Michigan is a beauty bombshell. You can’t drive five minutes without passing a lakeshore, shifting landscapes, or miles of untouched woods to hike, climb, and explore. But in my opinion, one of the most underrated beauties of our home is the winter landscape. Yes, it can be a bit frigid, but nothing compares to the magic of deep green pines dusted with puffs of bright white snow. And when it starts to fall lightly from the sky, it feels like stepping straight into a fairytale.

The Dammon family’s Christmas photos in Traverse City were the perfect example of that magic. A simple 15-minute session among the pines at the Oleson Bridge Trailhead was all it took for this family of four to sink into the wonder of a Northern Michigan winter.
